I'd like it if PMs will communicate via fb and twitter. However currently some of them are doing it in a really annoying way. It is imperative they: NOT delete comments that are incovenient (not offensive). Do not block people with challanging questions. They should maintain their accounts/pages and not just use it to publish something every once in a while. If a member of thier team is doing it for them - make sure they represent them properly and don't lie about it - it's ok to have a team but be transparent about it. If they start a page/account make sure it is kept up-to date and that users comments are responded to in a timely manner. If you do not have time to respond daily, publish a schedule - days/hours where you intend to be online.
I would like to see politicians and parliamentarians logging into social media and really discussing with people, instead of just using them for marketing purposes. There is a lot of feedback and new ideas in social networks for those who seek for feedback, it is just a matter of will.
